Board Of Directors

The Board of Directors at Congregation Tiferes B’Nai Israel serves as the governing body of the synagogue and is charged with the full oversight and direction of all aspects of its operations, including educational, ritual, communal, financial, and administrative affairs.

The Board has a continuing fiduciary obligation to act in good faith, with due care, and in the best interests of the Congregation as a whole. In fulfilling this responsibility, the Board establishes policy, ensures financial stewardship, safeguards the Congregation’s assets, and provides strategic leadership to secure the synagogue’s long-term stability and vitality.

Pursuant to the Constitution adopted by the Congregation, the Executive Board is vested with the general authority to manage and direct all affairs of the Congregation, except in those matters expressly reserved to the membership for approval.
