Welcome to Congregation Tiferes B'nai Israel, a Reconstructionist Synagogue located in the heart of Bucks County. More than 110 member families worship at TBI, which provides the warmth of a small congregation while offering a level of services and activities usually found only in much larger congregations. Services are held Friday evening at 7:30 P.M. We offer a Family Service on the 3rd Friday of each month which begins at 7:30 P.M. This allows your family to enjoy the spirit of Shabbat. Saturday Morning Minyan begins at 9.00 A.M. TBI is devoted to building a strong family oriented Jewish community in Central Bucks and Montgomery County. Our Hebrew school helps to build a strong base through prayer leadership training which continues into teenage years and beyond.
Congregation Tiferes B'nai Israel has been serving the Bucks and Montgomery County Jewish community since 1924. As the oldest Synagogue in Bucks County, we offer a strong sense of tradition and family values.
Meet Jon Cutler
Ordained by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Wyncote PA, Rabbi Cutler holds B.A. and M.A. in religious studies from Temple University and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from Hebrew Union College, New York. Upon ordination, he entered the U.S. Navy as a chaplain and was on active duty for 5 years.
